2009 Pinot Noir Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour clear the nose has vanilla overtones mixed with soft oak and red currants plums and cherries and strawberries. Spices and black peppers complete this complex mix. On the palette it has silky smooth tannins allowing the fruit flavour to develop in the mouth and finishing off with a further fruit kick and lastly the black pepper
Fermented traditionally in open topped tanks, hand plunged, using indigenous yeasts. Maturation in French barriques for 15 months before minimal filtration no fining and bottling in March 2011
