We love this sort of news as it brings the vintage cycle to a great conclusion. Its been another great year at the global wine awards. Te Mara has won two silver medals and a highly commended at the Decanter Wine Awards. Both the 2008 and 2009 Pinot Gris won the silvers and the 2008 Pinot Noir won the highly commended. This is a big global event where there are over 10,500 entries to compete against. Only 11% get a Silver medal. We feel this is an endorsement that we are making consistently good wine.
