Deep rich scarlet in colour. The nose is vibrant with rich, brooding layers of red fruits, game and dried herb aromas. Some char and chocolate aromas are evident from maturation in French oak barrique. The palate is typical of Central Otago Pinot Noir, this wine is a vibrant assortment of sweet red and dark fruit flavours coupled with savoury fruit tannins from excellent quality fruit and well seasoned oak. Best served with lamb and salmon, but also any other meats. In summer slightly chill the wine and it is lovely just by the glass.
