Our first vintage of Riesling hit the market place at the beginning of this year and its been great fun testing out all the reactions to it.  Asia was the first country to try it.  Reared on NZ Sauvignon Blanc Asians response was curious and for them to dry for their pallet.  But the Germans and the Irish loved it and the 2009 vintage is all sold out. 2010 harvest of Riesling is good and we are excited about what this vintage will be like.  The aromas from the Riesling in Central Otago are strong, lots of limes and lemons very citrus dominated which is why its such a great food wine.
