Being resident in London has some benefits (and it’s not the weather!).  Janiene was able to take advantage of an event organised by the NZ Embassy in Moscow, introducing NZ wines to the Russian trade.  Working in most western european countries, we take for granted the relative ease by which we can ship wine samples ahead of our tastings.  Not so Russia!  We were advised not to ship samples to Moscow because they would not get delivered.  It was into St Petersburg then on to Moscow by truck.
